Doll Sewing Kit

This "doll" sewing kit is simply precious. The green "hat" is the thimble. Inside the body of the doll is a spool that lifts out where thread can be wound. The domed lid on the spool removes so needles can be stored inside. The doll body is painted with her face, a round pin at her neck and a laced vest. The paint is in good shape but there are a few little places where it has been worn away. It is made out of celluloid in Italy and is circa 1920. This is a wonderful, hard-to-find piece for any collection.
