This is a sweet hand towel in blue linen with a hand hemstitched hem on the bottom front. The spray of white Lilly of the Valley are hand embroidered, but what makes this so sweet are the five larger flowers. They are separate, hand embroidered flowers that are tacked onto the towel to give a three-dimensional effect! The stitches used on these five flowers are padded satin stitch, straight stitch and seed stitch. The rest of the spray is worked in back stitch, long and short stitch and double straight stitch.
