This is a set of FOUR vintage Madeira placemats, each in beautiful condition. They are made of fine linen, and the scallop design and the cotton organdy inset are hand pinstitched (also known as Madeira work). All embroidery is by hand, and the back of each placemat is as neat as the front! The colors are vibrant and beautiful. Each placemat measures 12 1/8" by 17 1/4".
