These steel buttonhooks are almost 5 inches long and almost one inch wide at the widest part of the handles. The first one just has a simple geometric pattern on both sides of the handle. The second one is an advertising button hook. The raised lettering on the handle says "J D Harrar & Son, Boots & Shoes, Christiana, PA" and the back of the handle is smooth.
