This 1880's Victorian Wedding Handkerchief is absolutely gorgeous! It is completely hand sewn with Ayershire Whitework beading, beautiful french Valenciennes cotton lace insertion and edging. The center is a very fine sheer linen lawn. The style is reminiscent of Normandy lace work. The four corner lace medallions are gorgeous. There are a couple of tiny areas where the joining has come apart and one small place where the rolling and whipping on the linen lawn center has separated from the lace insertion.
